What is this betting website all about?
I built this website as an Australian betting enthusiast (euphemism for an Aussie who likes to gamble on just about anything) who has a betting account with a lot of internet bookmakers and I thought since I have a bit of knowledge about which betting sites are best for sports, which are best for horse racing, greyhound racing, harness racing and even reality TV shows, elections and other novel things which are now easy to bet on, at home on your computer via the internet, or even on your mobile phone or tablet PC.
Compare Betting Offers From the Different Australian Bookmakers
Most online bookies in Australia offer great bonus offers and special deals for new members (where available by law, certain states ban certain things - for example, I could go to jail for inadvertanly offering you an incentive to join a betting website - so I am NOT doing that).
You can easily compare these bookmakers and their rapidly changing bonuses at my mate's site: OzePunting.com - that's if the cunts who he has been referring punters like you and me to for over 10 years continue to pay him, but we'll leave that where it belongs - in a transparent public inquiry, hopefully an inquiry that actually has some kind of power to change things, even if it's not directly. Something like a royal commission into the practices of the large foreign and Australian gambling companies, their influence on political parties and the impact they've had on both small business and regular people in Australia would be a great place to start.
If there are any journalists out there who have a shred of decency left could look at all the names associated with all of the companies which have merged, joined, disappeared and then re-emerged with a different name months later may be able to find some reason why that would be profitable for them. I know I was screwed out of $x,xxx, xxx from one company alone, and I'm only a small fish. I know you're probably thinking " oh, first time business owner got taken for a ride for the first time in his life, boo hoo. But you'd be wrong. I'd lost hundreds of thousands of dollars owed to me over the years, but nothing has compared to the sleazy nature of the gambling companies in Australia, especially the Australian companies themselves.
page which lists most of those found on this website, it's run by a good mate of mine.
Unfortunately Victorians are unable to take advantage of any free bet offers from Australian bookmakers due to regulations recently imposed on gambling providers. Some international bookmakers still provide free bets for new members, but they're often small in amount and international bookmakers aren't great at serving the regular Aussie, unlike those listed here at Best Betting Sites.
Which Betting Sites are Best for Horse Racing? Which Betting Sites are Best for Sports Betting? Do I Have to Bet With my Computer?
Most bookies offer both a standard website which you can use with your web browser, the same one you're using to view this site, as well as a mobile site and/or app which allows you to bet with the same account anywhere you are in the world. This can be very useful, especially if you're interested in live in-play betting.
Which Betting Site Should I Join?
I think if you're interested in betting online, you should have an account with multiple bookmakers. Each have their strengths and their weaknesses and the odds and markets can vary greatly from bookie to bookie. Being successful over the long term requires knowledge, patience and most importantly, taking advantage of any edge at your disposal. One such edge is your ability to get the best odds available. It's wise to shop around and compare the odds from each bookmaker before placing your bets.
Sign Up Bonuses, Promotions and other incentives
Most bonuses and promotions are now only available to existing customers of online betting sites due to regulations which prevent Australian advertisers offering incentives to gamble. Of course, this doesn't stop overseas operators from operating incentives for Australians to gamble, so the government made it illegal for foreign countries to offer incentives to Australian citizens incentives to sign up with them. The problem here though, is that it isn't a crime for an Australian citizen to seek out overseas websites with better incentives than Australian websites, which would be collecting tax money for Australians. Clever policy making, isn't it?
Taking Advantage of Free Bet Bonuses
These days, you can't. Because Australian conservatives made "free bets" illegal. Therefore, there are now only "money back bonuses" or essentially, "free bets with a different name and worse for consumers". It makes you wonder just how much money is given to the major political parties by the insanely rich gambling companies.
What Is Credit Betting? Do You Recommend That I Bet with Credit From a Bookmaker?
Imagine if you were a real estate agent, and you could only sell homes to those people who had already saved enough to purchase one. Well, apart from having an exclusive clientele of politicians, drug dealers, prostitutes, hit men, corrupt police and other people of good character, you would want to increase your clientele, right? Enter - credit betting. No need to pay u now, we'll just repossess your car, boat, house, clothes on your back or anything at all that we can legally do - which according to the Royal Banking Commission, is pretty much anything they fucking want.
